“Sanctuary”-
This is part 1 of the 2 hour season finale. The hospital runs into a major crisis that is the worst to ever happen. There is a large car accident that causes many patients to be brought in. An old person is brought into the ER and while there ends up seeing an old love that just happens to also be there. The doctors and nurses end up getting enjoying the love story between them. Karev gets work with a patient that has schizophrenia and Meredith tells Cristina about her suspicions of Owen.

“How Insensitive”-
Bailey gets the team ready by doing some training before a person that weights 700 pounds comes to the hospital. In Grey’s Anatomy Season 6 Episode 20 Sloan goes into labor right when she gets back to Mark’s place and people are waiting there ready to help deliver the baby. Teddy feels threatened when she happens to see Derek’s invitation to another surgeon. She feels like her long term success with working at the hospital may not last. “Sympathy for the Parents”-
Aaron, Alex’s brother, makes an appearance to the hospital with a hernia. Alex tries to get Bailey to let him do it pro bono. Things get complicated when Aaron mentions that the family has not heard of Alex since he came to Seattle. Secrets about Alex’s past get let out to other doctors. Derek and Meredith spend some time talking about children. Mark and Teddy get together and have sex.

“Suicide is Painless”-
Teddy’s patient is looking to stop her treatment and she goes to Hunt for some help. This causes Hunt to think back about war and being with Teddy. Arizona and Callie aren’t agreeing about the future and Richard tries to make changes since becoming a surgeon. Meredith thinks Derek took one of her surgeries and get upset with me.

A doctor known as Harper Avery is sent to the hospital for surgery. “The Time Warp“-
Derek is trying to improve the hospital since he has become the Chief. One thing he does is start by up the hospital lectures. Bailey gets to talk about how when she first started she was shy. Also in Grey’s Anatomy The Time Warp, Callie talks about a case that was difficult for her. Richard shares information about how he and Ellis diagnosed a patient with AIDS back when it was called GRID. The show contains many flashbacks showing what happened.
